Things We Do:

Lead
We sponsor, organize and lead activities which take place on the Greenway so that participants can experience it firsthand.  Nature walks, birding walks, litter cleanups and invasive plant pulls are some examples of these activities.

Educate
Our Greenway activities are designed to be lighthearted and enjoyable.  At the same time, we try to weave interpretation and fun facts into our activities so that participants always return home with greater understanding of the Greenway than when they arrived.

Inform
This web site serves as a community resource for information regarding the Greenway's natural environment.  Details of upcoming activities are posted as well.

Collaborate
We collaborate with the City of Fernandina Beach Parks and Recreation Department in a volunteer role to assist with Greenway tasks.  In addition, we make Greenway project and improvement recommendations.
