About Us

Newly formed in 2007, Our Greenway is a non-profit citizens support organization. We foster greater appreciation and enjoyment of Egans Creek Greenway while at the same time work to restore, preserve and protect its natural environment. Our formal name is Egans Basin Community Partnership, but most people know us simply as Our Greenway.

Our Mission Our Greenway is a citizens-based organization dedicated to connecting people, wildlife and land. We embrace partnerships with government, landowners, schools and businesses to balance uses and impacts upon Egans Creek Greenway and its basin.

In our role as a citizens support organization, we collaborate with the City of Fernandina Beach by providing volunteer people power to work on projects that improve the Greenway. Due to budget or manpower constraints these important projects might not otherwise be undertaken.
